A featured snippet is a summary of two or more sentences of text that can appear at the top of Google. A feature snippet provides a result for the user's query directly in the Google search engine results box at the bottom. The ways to receive a feature snippet are:
Add a title “Why?”
Use a “for” sentence structure
Define the topic completely
Match the format of the excerpt presented
Do not use your brand name
Don't use first person language
Scale selected snippets
Prioritize when you rank in the top five
Iterate your optimizations
Feature snippets and voice search
Snippet is the voice search fuel that can help with ranking. But Google also plays snippets when users try to use the voice query option or feature, whether on mobile devices or Google Home. Similarly, presenting snippets egypt number data often needs to make sense in this context on the Google search engine.
The multiple snippet spots
When optimizing feature snippets, you may notice that there are many different types. It is imperative to be aware of these multiverse types. Additionally, you can understand how to create a content structure to optimize it.
How to optimize feature snippet
One of the things I was able to do is figure out how to optimize the featured snippet. I developed exact rules that I follow when optimizing client pages for this SERP feature.
You can learn more about each of the rules below:
Rule #1: Add a “Why?” title
To begin your snippet optimization steps, you should look for a place in your content to add a “Why [Keyword]” title tag. This is a green signal to Google that the content could be used for the upcoming featured snippet. We’ve seen multiple instances of pages containing the featured snippet using this title format. When we change this strategy for our clients, we see very successful success rates.
