Since the German rollout of mobile-first indexing in April 2018, there has been some confusion about how it affects SEO rankings.
The mobile-first index is now a reality. However, some industries and companies are struggling to adapt. A successful SEO strategy requires understanding the mobile-first index and taking appropriate action.

The mobile-first index isn't an index that exists alongside the "normal" index. There's only one.
